Technical Sales Engineer

The successful candidate must have an engineering/production background ideally with previous estimation experience in an engineering environment, where CNC machining, fabrication and assembly are the core aspects of production.  This role may also suit someone who is looking to move from a machining background into a sales/administration environment.

Significant production experience in the manufacturing of parts, the successful candidate will display the necessary commercial awareness to be able to ensure the correct margins are upheld.

Working in a high-pressured environment, a quick turnaround is required, in order to work through a high volume of quote packs, in a methodical and timely manner.

Communication skills are key, so we are looking for someone who can clearly and concisely convey what the customer wants, into a contract review pack/costing module.

Confidence liaising with production, suppliers and customers is crucial.

This role is office based and highly administrative therefore you will need to be proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel and have knowledge of EFACs or a similar MRP system.

In addition to above, if you are dynamic and willing to go the extra mile, when the workload demands, then this could be the role you.

CNC Miller – Setter/Operator – Day or Nightshift

We are looking for a highly skilled CNC Miller to set and run CNC machines with Fanuc based control system. The successful applicants should have served an apprenticeship or gained a high level of experience in machining.

It would be beneficial if you have machined a wide range of materials including stainless, aluminium, mild steel, brass and plastics.

Although you will be working as part of a team you will need to work on your own initiative, with minimal supervision.

You must be able to work to tight tolerances and be responsible for the quality of your own work.

Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor

We are currently seeking a maintenance & facilities supervisor to manage our busy team.

As this role is “hands on”, we are looking for someone who ideally has advanced electrical knowledge and good mechanical skills, in order to carry out the following tasks:

  • Installation and fault finding, diagnosing and making repairs to CNC & conventional production machinery.
  • Fitting mechanical & electrical parts, replacement hydraulic hoses & airlines, plumbing and limited fabrication, welding & building works.
  • Keeping up to date records using logs on computer to record maintenance history.
  • Scheduling maintenance tasks.
  • Periodic checks to Compressors, Coolant System, Cooling Tower, Plant room and other site services.
  • Organizing quotes for required parts/service.
  • Liaising with service providers/contractors visiting site.

The ideal candidate would have experience of working in a CNC manufacturing environment, be able to organise their time effectively, be a good team player and have excellent communication skills.

All work carried out must meet the companies Health, Safety & Environmental procedures and policies.
