Welder/Fabricator

Working within our busy Fabrication department the ideal applicant would have Knowledge and experience of general sheet metal processes to support our requirement to:

TIG weld stainless mild steel and aluminium to a very high standard while working to engineering drawings. Involvement in developing new products in conjunction with our customer requirements for light to medium fabrications and be able to fabricate their own jigs and fixtures where applicable.

In addition to above, you must have experience of general Sheet Metal duties to support your role as a Welder/Fabricator.

CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator – Horizontal Milling (Day or Nightshift)

We are looking for a highly skilled CNC Machinist to programme, set and run Mori Seiki twin pallet horizontal milling machines with Fanuc based control systems.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a good understanding of 3, 4 and 5 axis machining and to have machined a wide range of materials including stainless, aluminium, mild steel, brass and plastics.

Although you will be working as part of a team you will need to work on your own initiative, with minimal supervision.

You must be able to work to tight tolerances and be responsible for the quality of your own work.

The ideal candidate will either have served an apprenticeship or gained a high level of experience in machining as stated above. Experience of CAD/CAM programming would also be a distinct advantage.

Driver

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to enhance our professional stores team, who are committed to providing an excellent delivery service to our customers.

It is essential that you possess a full, clean driving licence.

Duties will include:

  • Driving finished goods to Customer premises and any other driving that may be required.
  • Checking stock quantities both in and out of Stores.
  • Picking and packing product to company procedures.
  • To undertake all Stores duties related to Goods In/Goods out.
  • Adhoc duties as required.

Although not essential, it would be beneficial if you have the following:

  • Previous experience of being a delivery driver.
  • Experience of driving a 3.5 tonne, long wheel base van.
  • Good driving practices and experience of long distance driving.
  • Good IT skills (including MRP system, Excel and Outlook).
  • A forklift licence.

An immediate start is required.

Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician/Engineer

Days Only – Monday to Thursday

Would you like to give up working shifts and only work 4 days a week, with flexible start and finish times to suit you?   If yes, then this could be your ideal role.

We are currently seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician with and electrical bias to join our busy team.

We are looking for someone who has advanced electrical knowledge and good mechanical skills, to carry out the following tasks:

  • Installation, fault finding, and repairs to CNC & PLC production machinery.
  • Fitting mechanical & electrical parts, replacement hydraulic hoses & airlines, plumbing and limited fabrication, welding & building works.
  • Keeping up to date records using logs on computer to record maintenance history.
  • Scheduling maintenance tasks.
  • Periodic checks to Compressors, Coolant System, Cooling Tower, Plant room and other site services.
  • Organising quotes for required parts/service.
  • Liaising with service providers/contractors visiting site.

The ideal candidate would have experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, be able to organise their time effectively, be a good team player and have excellent communication skills.

Desirable:

  • C&G 18th Edition Regs
  • C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing
  • Counterbalance Forklift Licence

All work carried out must meet the companies Health, Safety & Environmental procedures and policies.

Maintenance & Facilities Manager

Days Only – Monday to Thursday

Would you like to give up working shifts and only work 4 days a week, with flexible start and finish times to suit you?   If yes, then this could be your ideal role.

CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator

Would you like to only work 4 days a week, with flexible start and finish times to suit you?   If yes, then this could be your ideal role.

We are looking for a skilled/experienced CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator to operate a variety of machines Milling/Turning Centers to perform assigned tasks.

The ideal candidate should have Prototrak PMX Control/Siemens Sinumerik experience and can program complex parts both at the machine or on an off line CAD system (OneCNC).

Able to read and understand complex drawings and have a good eye for detail.

Must work well within a team.

Have good problem-solving ideas.

Responsibilities:

  • Review parts produced, drawings or instructions to understand required specifications.
  • Be responsible for own quality recording outputs to drawing specifications.
  • Monitor machine while working to achieve optimum outputs.
  • Always looking for continuous improvement in all processes.
